Program Manager For Tennessee Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention ProgramThe Tennessee Department of Health’s Division of Family Health and Wellness is hiring a Program Manager for the Tennessee Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Program (TAPPP). This position will work as part of the team to oversee aspects of the Department of Health and Human Services Title V Sexual Risk Avoidance Education Program (SRAE).Responsibilities include:Provide essential support, including answering programmatic questions and providing technical assistance to sub-grantees across Tennessee who participate in the programLead the planning, coordination, and execution of program initiatives focusing on health equityConduct regular meetings with sub-recipients and staffCommunicate the program procedures and projects to staff and partnersReview, produce, and disseminate data-driven, evidence-informed and equitable resourcesMonitor trends in program uptake with a focus on serving disproportionately burdened populationsAssist the Program Director with aspects of grant management, including monitoring, reporting, etc.Participate in the development, execution, and monitoring of contractsPerform other related duties as requiredApplicants must meet the following criteria:Education and Experience: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree and at least three years experience working in public healthSubstitution of Experience or Education: Additional graduate coursework in a business or health-related field may be substituted on a year-for-year basis. Additional qualifying professional experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.The preferred candidate will have:Strong written and oral communication skills (grant/report writing, presentations)Experience implementing evidence-informed strategiesExperience with evaluation and continuous quality improvementExperience conducting trainingsExperience with health-focused community outreachExperience with Microsoft Office programs (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)Public health experience with a background in social work, community health, community outreach, etc.Reliable internet accessBackground VerificationMinimum Verification Requirements - Please complete the following verifications with Info Cubic upon candidate's selection.
