Description
This position oversees the daily operations, staff supervision, and strategic growth of all UCo Health home visiting and maternal-child health initiates in Umatilla County. This positions uses the principles of supervision, reflective practice, and staff development to provide primary support and appropriate oversight to the home visiting nurse programs ensuring a strengths-based, client-centered care.
Requirements
- Hold a current, unencumbered Oregon Registered Nurse license
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an approved school of nursing
- 2 years of experience as a practicing Registered Nurse
- Maintain confidentiality
- Ability to accept and utilize supervision and lead by example
- Ability to work with people of all socioeconomic and culture groups
- Ability to pass criminal background check.
- Current valid Oregon driver's license
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Nursing or closely related field
- Two (2) years of supervisory experience
- Experience in home visitation, community health and maternal/child health services
- Bilingual Spanish
