Public Cloud Architect

As a full-time remote Public Cloud Solutions Architect, the successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor, transforming business goals into cloud architecture, leading migration and modernization efforts, and mentoring other architects while ensuring alignment with client needs across major public cloud platforms. Key responsibilities Conduct discovery and assessment workshops, building business cases and total cost of ownership models for cloud solutions Design landing zones, networking, identity, data, and application patterns, and lead implementation teams to deliver secure and well-architected solutions Mentor other architects and consultants, establishing reference architectures and delivery standards while driving innovation in AI and automation capabilities Required qualifications 10+ years of experience in designing and delivering enterprise IT solutions, with at least 4 years focused on public cloud architecture Hands-on solutions architecture experience with at least one major hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and familiarity with a second Proven track record in leading cloud migration and modernization programs, including large-scale workload migrations Strong command of core cloud domains such as compute, storage, networking, identity management, and cloud security At least one current associate- or professional-level cloud certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect)
