Job Description
The Outpatient Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating all assigned patients and developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans based on the patients' needs, goals, and physician direction. This role includes the delegation and direction of therapy services and promoting safe patient handling and adherence to compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Complete thorough evaluations and develop appropriate treatment plans focused on patient progress towards discharge.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical record documentation, including goal writing and letters of medical necessity.
- Participate in educational activities for students, providing supervision and evaluations.
- Create and pursue a professional development plan in collaboration with clinical management.
- Adhere to the discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintain licensure in good standing.
- Implement performance improvement methodologies to enhance service quality.
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
- 6 months to 1 year of outpatient clinical experience required.
- Current CPR certification.
This is a 13-week contract position.
