As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality rehabilitative care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. Your responsibilities will include:

• Utilizing evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Administering various rehabilitation procedures, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
• Assessing patient progress and communicating with the supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments as needed.
• Providing consultation and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Effectively communicating with the healthcare team regarding patient progress and treatment plans.
• Documenting all required information in the electronic documentation system.
• Participating in required meetings and trainings.
• Supervising and supporting students under the guidance of the Physical Therapist.
• Adhering to APTA and State Required practice acts and ethics.

Requirements for this role include:

• Need 1 year experience in setting
• Active PTA license
• Experience in LTC or Rehab settings
• Ability to work collaboratively with a supervising Physical Therapist
