Quality Control AnalystWe are seeking a Quality Control Analyst to join our Courseware Operations team. This role is responsible for a critical part of the quality system by analyzing defects identified during the production fix/break cycle. This position works closely daily with the team members who make the fixes on our products to ensure our high-quality standards are met.As a Quality Control Analyst, you will:Triage and analyze incoming defects identified by Quality Control testers to determine remediation action during productionWork closely with Quality Management team to provide daily status updates on issues and keep team informed on potential delays or roadblocksAudit video and audio segments to determine where edits can be made in course content and communicate this to Course DevelopersReview animation inserts to determine if the content flows correctly where insertion is requested and communicate with asset capture to resolve issuesVerify defect fixes to make sure they are done to specified requirementsTriage and verify package change contentEscalate content issues to management as needed when other SANS teams need to perform fixesCollaborate with internal teams to provide feedback about defects and opportunities to prevent them in future projectsAssist with data collection for training and improving Quality Tester performanceTrack and update daily production task dashboardsServe as backup for the Quality Supervisor by coordinating and executing course release activities when requiredPerform other related duties as assigned.What We're Looking ForBachelor's degree or equivalent work experienceStrong attention to detailAbility to work efficiently on multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to communicate with remote team members clearly and preciselyUnrestricted authorization to work in the USA; visa sponsorship is not available.Preferred qualifications include:Minimum 1 year experience working in a Quality role or related fieldFamiliarity with Microsoft office products and SmartsheetFamiliarity with ServiceNow a plusExperience working with issue management software a plus (JIRA, Redmine, etc.)Benefits and Perks of Working at SANSWe're committed to fair and equitable compensation.
The expected pay range for this position is $26 - $30/hr, depending on geographic location, skills, and experience.
