We are hiring a Physical Therapist (PT) on a PRN basis in Ayer, MA. Join a rehabilitation setting where you can provide individualized care focused on improving strength, mobility, balance, and functional independence.
What You'll Do
- Complete physical therapy evaluations and establish individualized plans of care
- Provide skilled interventions for gait, strength, balance, transfers, endurance, and mobility
- Develop appropriate rehabilitation goals and track resident progress
- Modify treatment plans based on clinical findings and response to therapy
- Educate residents and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and safe mobility techniques
- Maintain clear and timely clinical documentation
- Coordinate care with PTAs and other members of the interdisciplinary team
- $60-$65/hour
- Flexible PRN schedule
- Collaborative rehabilitation team
- Short-term rehabilitation and long-term care caseload
- Supportive clinical environment
- Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license required
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
- Skilled nursing or post-acute rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required
- New graduate Physical Therapists are encouraged to apply
