Outpatient Physical Therapist

Location: Cheyenne Mountain, CO and Weber, CO

Assignment Duration: This is a 6-month contract position.

Schedule: 5x8.0

Job Description: The Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT) evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with the patients' needs, goals, and physician directives. The PT is responsible for the delegation and direction of therapy services for these patients and ensures that functional treatment programs are designed to facilitate an effective return to community activities. The role includes educating patients, families, students, and coworkers, while upholding the organization's mission, core values, and compliance with its code of conduct.

Responsibilities:

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Document medical records in a clear, accurate, and timely manner in compliance with guidelines.
• Participate in student programs, providing appropriate supervision and evaluations.
• Engage in professional development activities, including continuing education and self-study.
• Maintain professional licensure and adhere to ethical and regulatory standards.
• Understand and contribute to organizational performance improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School.
• 6 months to 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
