Physical Therapist - Outpatient Orthopedics

Location: Front Royal, VA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 8-hour Day Shift, 36 hours guaranteed with the expectation of working up to 40 hours per week. Overtime must be approved by the director before any overtime hours are worked.

Job Description: The Physical Therapist will provide outpatient orthopedic care, working with a diverse patient population. The candidate is expected to float to other clinics as needed and will manage a caseload with a productivity expectation of 60 visits per week, seeing approximately 12-14 patients per day. Double-booking of follow-up visits is expected.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients.
• Implement therapy interventions in accordance with established protocols.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Maintain productivity standards while ensuring high-quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Preferred outpatient experience in orthopedic settings.
• New Graduates are welcome to apply.
• Valid Physical Therapist license recognized in the state of Virginia.
