May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.KSA's/Required Qualifications - Knowledge of general maintenance and trades, commercial grounds keeping, and commercial cleaning.
Experience in various skilled trades, commercial grounds keeping, and commercial cleaning. Ability to operate a wide variety of power equipment, grounds equipment, and custodial equipment. Ability to lift and move furniture, supplies and equipment-50 lbs. minimum. Ability to climb extension ladder for maintenance and trades. Ability to operate snow removal equipment as assigned. Ability to work without close supervision. Ability to follow safety and security procedures. Ability to successfully complete assigned duties in a timely manner.Additional Considerations - High school graduate or GED preferred.Operation of a State Vehicle - YesSupervises Employees - NoRequired Travel - Some travel may be required.
