Psychotherapist Job Description
My Time Counseling Services is a small private practice located in West Allis, WI. We provide in-person and telehealth services to our clients. We offer a safe, relaxed, and cozy atmosphere for clinicians and their clients. We encourage our clinicians to maintain a good work/life balance.
Responsibilities :
Establishes positive, trusting rapport with patients.
Diagnoses and treats mental health disorders.
Creates individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and circumstances.
Meets with patients regularly to provide counseling and create treatment plans.
Conducts ongoing assessment of patient progress.
Involves and advises family members when appropriate.
Refers patients to outside specialists or agencies and refers to a higher level of care when necessary.
Maintains thorough records of patient sessions and progress.
Follows all safety protocols and maintains client confidentiality.
Utilizes SimplePractice EHR to maintain records and appointments.
Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team and participates in patient staffing and attends supervision meetings as appropriate.
Collaborates with covering clinicians when planning to be out of the office.
Contributes to the practice by accomplishing additional tasks as needed (e.g., attending mental health expos and community events - you are PAID for this time).
Work Hours & Expectations
Work hours are flexible. 25-30 client sessions per week are expected for full-time employees.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
Master's degree in psychology, social work, or professional counseling.
Current, unrestricted license in WI as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT.
Significant and relevant clinical experience.
Ability to pass a WI Caregiver Background Check (no criminal convictions, insurance fraud, or Medicare/Medicaid Sanctions).
