This role combines program administration, faculty and resident development, accreditation management, and direct clinical service. The Director will foster a culture of professionalism, academic rigor, and compassionate care while maintaining full compliance with all accrediting bodies and advancing the program's national reputation.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide overall leadership, supervision, and administration of the Psychiatry Residency Program.Recruit, develop, and evaluate program faculty, ensuring clinical, teaching, and scholarly excellence.Recruit, mentor, and evaluate residents, fostering professionalism, ethical practice, and success in board certification.Oversee curriculum development, rotation schedules, clinic operations, and academic programming.Ensure ongoing accreditation compliance with ACGME, state, and institutional requirements.Collaborate with affiliated academic institutions to coordinate medical student and resident education.Lead quality improvement initiatives, research efforts, and faculty development activities.Participate in strategic planning, budgeting, and program growth initiatives.Provide direct patient care, serve as an attending physician, and model clinical best practices.Engage in regional and national professional organizations to enhance program reputation.Promote a positive learning environment, high performance standards, and a culture of continuous improvement.QualificationsMD or DO from an accredited institution.Board-certified in Psychiatry.Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of (State).Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in behavioral health, with at least 2 years in a leadership or administrative role.Demonstrated experience in quality improvement, program development, and interdisciplinary team collaboration.Please send your resume to Emma at to learn more about the position and interview process!
