Certifications Required:
- DEA
- Controlled Substance License
- BLS
Licensure:
- Active Illinois State License
Experience:
- 3+ years of clinical experience in psychiatry
- 2+ years of experience in leadership
Responsibilities:
- Supervise 5 APRNs
- Provide clinical leadership and oversight to ensure delivery of psychiatric care to patients in crisis
- Consult on complex cases and assist with patient care as needed
Patient Demographics:
- Adults 18+
- Acute mental health cases, crisis evaluations, psychological distress
- Screen patients in the ER and transfer to crisis center
Unit Details:
- 12-chair recovery model
- Uses Cerner EMR system
- 27 total staff between PMHNPs and psych nurses
