Practice Setting: Outpatient Behavioral Health
We are seeking a compassionate, growth-oriented Psychiatrist to join an established outpatient behavioral health practice in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This is a unique opportunity to step into an existing patient base while helping expand the practice s clinical services, referral relationships, and overall presence in the community.
The practice offers traditional psychiatric services as well as innovative treatment options, including Spravato and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical expertise, an entrepreneurial mindset, and enthusiasm for building upon an established foundation.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management.
- Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
- Treat patients with a variety of behavioral health conditions, including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and treatment-resistant depression.
- Support the delivery and continued growth of Spravato and TMS services.
- Collaborate with advanced practice providers, therapists, clinical staff, and operational leadership.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Participate in quality-improvement and practice-development initiatives.
- Help strengthen referral relationships and identify opportunities to expand services.
- Support the practice s long-term clinical and operational growth.
- Ensure care is provided in accordance with professional, ethical, regulatory, and organizational standards.
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency program.
- Board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry.
- Active Pennsylvania medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one.
- Strong clinical judgment and patient-centered communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary outpatient setting.
- Interest in innovative psychiatric treatments, including Spravato and TMS.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in practice growth, program development, and clinical leadership.
- Experience in outpatient psychiatry.
- Experience treating patients with treatment-resistant depression.
- Previous experience with Spravato, TMS, or other interventional psychiatric treatments.
- Experience developing clinical programs or growing an outpatient practice.
- Existing relationships within the Pittsburgh healthcare or referral community.
- An established patient base and opportunity to begin building a caseload immediately.
