Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
Schedule:
- Full-time coverage 40 hours/week
- 7 days on / 7 days off
- 8:00 AM 6:00 PM
- Provider must remain onsite for the full 10-hour shift
- Overnight weeknight beeper call
- Call schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off
- Very low overnight call volume
- 20-minute call response time
Clinical Responsibilities:
The Psychiatrist will provide comprehensive behavioral health services across multiple settings, including:
- Inpatient mental health units adult and/or adolescent
- Psychiatric emergency services
- Hospital-based consult liaison services
- Candidates must be willing to support inpatient, consult, and crisis stabilization services
Patient Population:
- Patients age 12 and older
- Approximately 20 patients per shift
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Psychiatry
- Experience treating patients ages 12+
- Active Alaska license or IMLC Letter of Qualification
