Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner

Locums - St. Charles, Missouri, NP Psychiatry Job

Start Date: 10/19/2026

End Date: 1/17/2027

Position:

• Local Candidates Only
• 1 NP locum for inpatient coverage
• Round on inpatients
• Setting: Hospital
• Inpatient focus with a small outpatient department with no set times

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday: 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

• Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., as needed

• Weekend coverage may be part of the schedule

Patient Volume & Population:

• Approximately 20 patients per day

• New and existing patients

• Ages 17-68

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Inpatient psychiatric care

• Rounding on inpatients

• Onsite administration of medications for inpatient patients

Support Staff:

• 1.5 Psychiatrists

• 2 full-time Nurse Practitioners

• 4 part-time Nurse Practitioners

• Approximately 5-6 providers onsite each day

• Approximately 2 other providers onsite Saturday & Sunday

EMR: WellSky

Requirements:

• Nurse Practitioner

• BLS certification required

• CPR certification required
