Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner

Role Overview

• Full-time Monday to Friday schedule
• No nights or weekends
• Enjoy stability, support, and flexibility with onsite patient care and remote documentation
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and mental status examinations
• Diagnose and treat psychiatric, behavioral, and neurocognitive disorders in older adults
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
• Evaluate behavioral and safety concerns
• Provide brief interventions and behavioral management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings
• Coverage area includes Hendersonville and Arden, North Carolina

Compensation and Benefits

• Estimated compensation range of $120,000 to $160,000 annually with no cap on productivity income
• Base salary plus productivity, W2 position with full benefits (medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401k)
• Back-end infrastructure and clinical support provided

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted North Carolina license as a PMHNP-C
• Active DEA or willingness to obtain
• New grad PMHNP applicants welcome
• Experience with older adults or post-acute care preferred
