Psychiatry Position at Centra Lynchburg General HospitalCentra's Psychiatry and Behavioral Health provide vital and compassionate mental health services to our community through a variety of programs. We offer inpatient programs, which include an Acute Psychiatric Program for Children & Adolescents, an Adult Psychiatric Program, and a Geriatric Psychiatric Program. We also provide ambulatory services through Piedmont Psychiatric Center, Centra Pathways Treatment Center for those with substance-use disorders-related problems and Consult Liaison Services with two hospitals.
In addition, we have our new Psychiatric Emergency Center (emPATH) which opened in October 2023 and has been incredibly successful.
