Psychiatry Child physician job in New York :
A healthcare organization in New York City is actively seeking a licensed Attending Child Psychiatrist for a great opportunity at one of their outpatient facilities, focusing on Child and Adolescent populations in a multidisciplinary environment.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Standard business hours
- Setting: Outpatient (with up to 3 days remote)
Responsibilities:
- Providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment in an outpatient setting
- Delivering evidence-based pharmacologic management
- Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team
- Supervising and teaching residents and trainees
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- MD or DO
- Active or eligible for a New York State medical license
- Board certification in Psychiatry
- Fellowship training in Child/Adolescent psychiatry
- Strong commitment to patient-centered, culturally competent care
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
Desired Qualifications:
- Advanced Medical Training
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Experience in Outpatient Psychiatric Care
- Proficiency in Telepsychiatry
