We are seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Psychiatrist for a full-time, onsite adult inpatient role in Alton, IL .
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (37.5 hours/week) with no weekends, holidays, or after‑hours call.
- Location: 100% onsite in a secure clinical setting.
- Caseload: ~22 patients/day.
- Compensation: $210–$225/hour (~$450,000–$470,000/year).
Responsibilities
- Evaluating and treating adult inpatients.
- Managing psychopharmacology and documenting medication changes.
- Completing progress notes and clinical reports.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and participating in treatment planning.
Qualifications
- MD or DO, Board Certified/Eligible.
- Active Illinois medical, DEA, and Controlled Substance licenses.
- Inpatient psychiatry experience preferred.
- Comfortable working in a structured, secure environment.
