Psychiatrist

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Psychiatrist to join their expanding practices throughout South Louisiana. This role offers flexible full-time and part-time clinic options, as well as telepsychiatry and remote work opportunities across various psychiatric specialties. Clinicians will practice within an integrated, physician-led healthcare system utilizing collaborative multidisciplinary care teams and the EPIC medical record platform.

• Operates 47 hospitals and more than 370 health and urgent care centers across Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and the Gulf South
• Work with teams that include APPs, Psychiatry PharmD, clinical psychologists, social workers, & counselors
• Integrated health care delivery model with multi-specialty collaboration, large internal referral network and innovative resources dedicated to improving patient care
• EPIC medical record platform utilized throughout the health system to enhance flexibility in patient management

Responsibilities

• Resident supervision available
• Work with our Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) or Electro Convulsive Therapy (ECT) service
• Opportunities to work in child, adolescent, adult, geriatric, and/or addiction psychiatry
• Opportunities to grow new programs in our innovative, state-of-the-art Neurosciences Center of Excellence building to open in 2025

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible Psychiatrist
• Must have or be willing to obtain license to practice in LA
• Individuals who reside in and will work from the following areas are not eligible for remote work position: Colorado, California, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington, and Washington D.C.
