Gould Medical Group is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to serve as Medical Director for their Partial Hospitalization/Intensive Outpatient Program for behavioral health. This role involves providing clinical leadership, medical oversight, and direct psychiatric care to ensure safe, effective, and compliant treatment delivery. The position offers an opportunity to join a growing 525+ clinician multi-specialty group located about two hours east of San Francisco, California.

Responsibilities
- Provide physician leadership and oversight of all PHP/IOP clinical services
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support coordinated care
- Ensure therapeutic approaches align with program goals and evidence-based practices
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and manage medications
- Supervise and collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers and multidisciplinary team members
- Support staff with clinical questions, case discussions, and treatment planning
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards
- Participate in case conferences, treatment team meetings, and quality-improvement initiatives
Compensation
- Starting base salary: $340,000
- Sign-on bonus
- Two-year salary guarantee
- RVU based compensation model starting in year 2
- RVU bonus potential during guarantee
