What you'll do
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and medication management.
- Develop, monitor, and adjust individualized treatment plans.
- Provide crisis intervention and ongoing psychiatric support.
- Monitor medication effectiveness, side effects, and treatment progress.
- Collaborate with counselors, nurses, case managers, and other providers.
- Support integrated mental health and substance use disorder treatment.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively with the treatment team regarding client care.
Cybersecurity & HIPAA Responsibilities
- Protect confidential information and ePHI using EHI-approved systems and secure practices.
- Use assigned accounts and maintain password/MFA security.
- Follow least-privilege access and approved technology requirements.
- Report suspected phishing, security incidents, lost equipment, or compromised accounts immediately.
- Complete required cybersecurity and HIPAA training and follow EHI security policies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school and completion of psychiatric residency.
- Current medical license in the state of practice.
- Current DEA registration preferred.
- Strong knowledge of DSM criteria, psychiatric principles, and crisis assessment.
- Experience with electronic health records and e-prescribing preferred.
- Substance Use Disorder treatment/MAT experience preferred.
- Must obtain QMHP/QIDP credentials within 120 days of hire.
- Must successfully complete, background checks, and LEIN check.
