Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Psychiatrist - Outpatient to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Gotham Health, Broadway and NYC Health + Hospitals/Gotham Health, Cumberland. The Gotham Health Community-Based Practices serve diverse families and individuals throughout New York City and provide care to persons from varying racial/ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients referred or assigned to the Substance Use Disorders (SUD) outpatient team, including best practices for medication management, appropriate and timely care, and comprehensive documentation.
• Complete psychiatric admission assessment, with a focus on comprehensive risk assessment for all new intakes, and re‑assessment of patients, in a timely fashion consistent with policy.
• Complete treatment plan documentation consistent with policy and appropriate to patient’s risk level. Partner with interdisciplinary team members to review and approve care plans.
• Clinical partnerships and referrals within system, to other Gotham sites.
• Provide supervisory oversight to clinical team members, including but not limited to Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners and Psychologists.
• May participate in and/or facilitate collaborative case conference, team meeting, and high‑risk patient committees for review of quality of care and guidance towards best‑practices.

Qualifications

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry.
• Active New York State Medical License.

Wages & Benefits

Annual Base Salary: $267,900 (board eligible); $278,200 (board certified) based on a 40‑hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $398,690 (board eligible) and $410,020 (board certified).

• Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $104,000 .
