This role offers the opportunity to provide essential inpatient psychiatric services in the only psychiatry hospital serving a large regional population. Practice Info
- Inpatient only setting
- Daily patient census: 14 patients per clinic day
- Team of 5 full-time and 8 part-time psychiatrists
Responsibilities
- Voluntary and involuntary psychiatric assessments
- Forensic (custody) services
- Group and individual therapy
- Medication management
- Recreation therapy
- Discharge planning
Compensation
- Salary Range: $247,155 to $366,557 / Year
- Wages are determined based upon several factors including, but not limited to, an employee's qualifications, experience, and personal productivity
- Additional call coverage is compensated
- Loan Repayment: Negotiable
Shift & Schedule
- Monday - Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM with some weekends
Requirements
- MD or DO degree required
- BE/BC
- California licensed or eligible to obtain licensure in the State of California
