Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and manage complex mental health conditions
- Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications
- Supervise and collaborate with psychiatric NPs and facility staff
- Participate in behavioral health quality initiatives and regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of Psychiatry residency
- NY State medical license and DEA registration
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry
