Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our outpatient behavioral health team in Northwest Indiana. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered psychiatric care to individuals of all ages, including adults, adolescents, and children.
You’ll work within a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat a range of mental health conditions—playing a key role in improving the well-being of our community.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe medications
- Provide ongoing medication management and follow-up care
- Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and primary care providers
- Participate in clinical team meetings and case consultations
- Rotate on-call duties as scheduled
Qualifications
- MD or DO with an active Indiana medical license
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Completed Psychiatry residency program
- DEA license to prescribe controlled substances
- Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and evidence-based practices
- Experience in outpatient or community mental health preferred
