Enjoy working day shift Monday through Friday.NHSC Loan Repayment is available for qualified full-time candidates!The Psychiatrist provides psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients, works under the supervision of the Psychiatric Medical Director, and provides clinical leadership for a multi-disciplinary team in providing behavioral health services to patients with psychiatric disorders or other mental health issues.QualificationsJob Qualifications:Documentation of education as MD or DO and completion of accredited residency program requiredCurrent license to practice medicine in Florida requiredBoard Certification for certification in PsychiatryMust have an active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration certificateMust maintain current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR certificationMust be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicableMinimum of two (2) years of experience practicing as psychiatrist in a clinical setting preferredMinimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in an clinical settingExperience in correctional mental health care or locked unit preferredAvailable ShiftMonday-FridayDay ShiftAll full-time Psychiatrists participate in rotational on-call approximately every 6 to 8 weeks.
