Role Overview
Psychiatrists apply clinical and prescribing expertise to evaluate AI-generated clinical content, assess field-specific responses, and provide clear, structured feedback that improves AI understanding of psychiatric tasks, language, and decision making.
Key Responsibilities- Review and evaluate outputs from AI models related to psychiatric care, diagnostics, treatment planning, and clinical communication.
- Develop prompts and test scenarios that reflect real-world psychiatric practice, then assess model responses for clinical accuracy, safety, and relevance.
- Deliver concise, structured feedback that helps refine model behavior and its alignment with workplace tasks and professional language.
- Work asynchronously and independently, collaborating indirectly with AI research teams to improve model quality.
- Participate in periodic projects across different subject areas as matching opportunities arise.
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in psychiatry or closely related clinical roles.
- Relevant clinical responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: administering psychotherapeutic treatments and prescribing medications while maintaining comprehensive patient records; collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to design individualized care plans and evaluate treatment outcomes; conducting diagnostic assessments and providing expert testimony for legal evaluations.
- No prior AI experience is required; ability to apply clinical judgment and communicate precise, actionable feedback is essential.
- Comfort with asynchronous collaboration and following structured evaluation tasks provided by research teams.
- Engagement type: hourly, temporary research projects.
- Location: fully remote, asynchronous work.
- Employment type: part-time, flexible schedule with no minimum required hours.
- Typical time commitment for active participants averages 5 to 20 hours per week, though actual hours vary by project.
- Placement depends on project availability; projects run year-round and new opportunities open periodically. If no immediate match is available at application time, additional projects will become available later.
- Up to $200/hr (depending on the project)
- F-1 students who are eligible for CPT or OPT may be eligible to participate. Consult your Designated School Official to confirm whether this program meets your school and immigration requirements.
- If your school requires enrollment in a CPT course, this program may not satisfy that requirement.
- STEM OPT is not supported for participation in these projects.
