LifeCare Counseling & Psychiatry, a Christian firm, is seeking a dedicated and energetic Psychiatric Provider, either MD, PA, or NP, to join our dynamic mental health team in Concord, North Carolina. Job Description
Our Psychiatric Providers are responsible for the following duties:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and establish appropriate diagnoses.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Prescribe, monitor, and manage psychiatric medications in accordance with current standards of care and within the scope of licensure.
- Provide follow-up medication management and supportive care for clients across the lifespan, as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation within the electronic medical record.
- Collaborate with therapists, administrative staff, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate quality client care.
- Comply with all HIPAA privacy regulations, ethical standards, and applicable federal and North Carolina laws.
- Participate in clinical consultation, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development as appropriate.

Requirements
- Current, unrestricted North Carolina license appropriate to the provider's discipline (MD/DO, PA, or NP) with authority to prescribe medications.
- DEA registration (or ability to obtain prior to employment).
- Strong diagnostic, assessment, and psychopharmacology skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, ethical, and evidence-based psychiatric care.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and standard office technology.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound clinical judgment.
- Valid North Carolina Driver's License.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance.
- Experience in outpatient psychiatric practice preferred.
- Work collaboratively with LifeCare counselors to ensure integrated, whole-person treatment that supports each client's emotional, relational, spiritual, and psychiatric well-being, consistent with the client's preferences.
Hours are flexible. Pay is based on a graduated scale (up to 67%) based on revenue generated.
