Psychiatrist - Collaborating Physician - Remote

For our client, we are seeking a Psychiatrist - Collaborating Physician - Remote to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

This remote collaborating physician role is centered on clinical oversight, consultation, and quality support within a team-based psychiatric care model. The position focuses on helping ensure compliant, evidence-based treatment practices while partnering with psychiatric NPs/PAs and broader operational leaders. It offers meaningful involvement in quality improvement with no direct patient care required.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $180,000 – $220,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Review and approve medical records in accordance with state law
• Provide clinical consultation to psychiatric NPs/PAs
• Support accurate psychiatric evaluation and treatment planning
• Ensure prescribing aligns with APA and SAMHSA guidelines
• Participate in quality review meetings

Qualifications

• MD or DO with Board Certification in Psychiatry
• Active Connecticut medical license required
• Active DEA registration
• Commitment to quality and compliance standards
• Experience in collaborative care settings
