Psychiatrist

This locum tenens psychiatry role at a community mental health center in Colorado offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive outpatient care to an adult patient population. Clinicians will work Monday through Friday on day shifts, conducting initial psychiatric evaluations and follow-up medication management visits. The provider will collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, continuous behavioral health care delivery without any call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time outpatient psychiatric services for an adult patient population
• Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations (approximately 1 hour)
• Provide follow-up medication management visits for adults presenting with mood, anxiety, trauma-related, psychotic, and other behavioral health conditions
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary behavioral health team to support care planning and continuity of patient care

• Dates needed: ASAP - Ongoing
• Shift type: Day Shift
• Monday - Friday during day shifts totaling 40 hours per week
• No call required
