Psychiatrist

This inpatient facility in Riverside, California is seeking a locum tenens Psychiatrist for ongoing coverage starting ASAP. The provider will deliver acute psychiatric care across inpatient, OR, and ER settings during 12-hour day shifts on weekends. Clinicians will utilize the EPIC EMR system and collaborate with support staff to manage adult patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient psychiatric care across inpatient, OR, and ER settings
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations
• Develop treatment plans
• Manage medications for adult patients requiring acute psychiatric care
• Conduct documentation and patient management using the EPIC EMR system
• Collaborate with hospital staff to support effective care delivery

Shift & Schedule

• Dates needed: ASAP - Ongoing
• Shift type: Day Shift
• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for at least 3-4 weekends per month
• Call required: No
• Shift hours: Part time (32 hours)
