Program of Assertive Community Treatment (PACT)

Full‑Time or Part‑Time (flexible hours)

What You Will Do

The Psychiatrist will be a member of a self‑contained interdisciplinary team which utilizes an assertive recovery‑oriented outreach model to serve 80 clients. The psychiatrist will share clinical responsibility with the Team Leader, a licensed clinician, for developing and monitoring clinical treatment and supervising staff delivery of clinical services. This is an opportunity to be actively involved in all aspects of client treatment.

  • Provide medical supervision to nursing staff.
  • Staff training.
  • Psychopharmacological treatment of PACT clients.
  • Supportive therapy.
  • Crisis evaluations.
  • Consultation to families.
  • Some administrative responsibilities.
  • Outreach services provided in clients’ homes or other community locations as needed.

Who You Are

  • M.D., Board certified or Board eligible in psychiatry.
  • Licensed to practice medicine in Massachusetts.
  • Experience working with individuals with serious mental illness.
  • Knowledge of PACT model preferred.
  • Experience with Electronic Health Record preferred.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
