Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in the care and supervision of patients with mental health or psychiatric disorders.
- Monitor patient behavior and report significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Support patients with daily living activities, hygiene, and personal care.
- Assist with therapeutic activities and treatment programs.
- Observe and document patient progress, behaviors, and responses to treatment.
- Help maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
- Respond appropriately to behavioral crises using approved intervention techniques.
- Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transportation within the facility.
- Promote patient dignity, confidentiality, and emotional well-being.
- Comply with facility policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Current, valid, and unrestricted CA license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Licensed Psychiatric Technician .
- Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
- Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., . BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements ).
