Base salary ranges from $125,000 to $195,000, commensurate with experience level (PA I, II, or III) and schedule format (Hybrid vs. Telehealth).

Position Summary
As a Psychiatric PA in our Boulder mental health clinic, you will play a pivotal role on our team by providing comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and treatment interventions for adults and children over five years of age. You will focus on high‑quality, patient‑centered care including medication management, psychotherapy, and integrative therapies like Deep TMS and Spravato while collaborating seamlessly with our Chief Medical Officer/Psychiatrist as required by Colorado law.
Core Responsibilities
Clinical Care & Treatment: Develop, implement, and optimize individualized treatment plans utilizing medication management, psychotherapy, and evidence‑based integrative therapies like nutrition, mindfulness, and yoga.
Interventional Treatments: Gain proficiency in patient selection and supervise the safe administration of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Spravato treatments. You will work on site at least 50% of the time to support these interventional procedures.
Patient Experience: Foster strong, authentic therapeutic relationships with patients and their families, educating them on mental health conditions and healthy lifestyle choices.
Collaboration: Work within a multidisciplinary team, participate in weekly case conferences, and maintain a collaborative or supervisory agreement with the attending physician per Colorado statute.
Documentation & KPIs: Ensure accurate completion of all clinical documentation within 24‑48 hours. Achieve an 85% schedule utilization rate and maintain patient satisfaction above 90%.
Community Outreach: Participate in community outreach programs and collaborate with local organizations to promote mental‑health awareness and improve access to care.
Qualifications and Credentials
Education: Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or completion of an accredited PA program.
Certifications: Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances.
Experience: At least one year of psychiatric/mental-health PA experience is preferred, though candidates with 0–2 years of experience may be hired at the PA I level with appropriate supervision.
Background & Authorization: A satisfactory background check is required, alongside authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Technology and Physical Requirements
Tech Stack: Proficiency with EHR systems (including Athena), telehealth platforms, and the Microsoft Office suite. Experience with Deepscribe is highly valued.
Remote Setup: An adequate home office with stable internet connectivity to perform administrative tasks remotely.
Physical Demands: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, accommodate intermittent physical activity (including lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, and kneeling), and meet specific visual and auditory requirements necessary for patient care.
