Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

A growing outpatient psychiatric practice with 90+ clinicians across five Maryland locations is hiring a PMHNP for a hybrid role where your time stays clinical — supported by a dedicated admin, billing, credentialing, and prior auth team that handles everything else. Broad diagnostic scope across children, adolescents, and adults. TMS and KAP available. Suboxone prescribing required. Minimum 3 years of psychiatric NP experience required.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and establish individualized treatment plans
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications monitoring effectiveness, side effects, and progress
• Manage anxiety, ADHD, ASD, depression, bipolar, PTSD, schizophrenia, personality disorders, and substance use disorders
• Assess suicide risk and coordinate appropriate levels of care
• Prescribe Suboxone for patients with substance use disorders as clinically indicated
• Provide patient and family education on mental health conditions and medications
• Maintain timely EMR documentation and coordinate with multidisciplinary team
• Participate in case discussions, staff meetings, and quality improvement

Qualifications

• Active Maryland APRN license and active DEA enrollment required
• PMHNP certification required
• Minimum 3 years psychiatric NP experience required
• Standard DSM scope of psychiatric experience required
• Suboxone prescribing experience required
• Substance use disorder experience preferred
• Active CAQH profile preferred

Schedule & Compensation

• $140,000–$155,000/year
• Full-time | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM–6:00 PM window
• Hybrid: minimum 2 days onsite | Remaining days telehealth
• No call | Schedule built around your patient panel
