About NeuroHealth Treatment Centers

NeuroHealth Treatment Centers is a growing, boutique outpatient mental health practice located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We are focused on providing high-quality, personalized psychiatric care while incorporating innovative treatment options into the patient experience.

Our practice provides comprehensive psychiatric services for adults experiencing conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, OCD, ADHD, and other mental health conditions.

In addition to traditional psychiatric medication management and psychotherapy, our practice offers innovative neuromodulation and interventional psychiatry services, including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Spravato® (esketamine), and IM ketamine treatment.

We are continuing to expand our clinical team and are looking for a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) who wants to be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking practice.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a full-time, salaried PMHNP-BC to provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, medication management, treatment planning, and ongoing patient care.

This is a hybrid position, with approximately 1–2 days per week in our Fort Lauderdale office and 3–4 days per week remotely, depending on patient volume and the needs of the practice.

The ideal candidate is clinically confident, compassionate, organized, and genuinely interested in building long-term relationships with patients. You should be comfortable working independently while also collaborating with psychiatrists, PMHNPs, therapists, and our broader clinical team.

Bilingual Spanish/English candidates are strongly preferred.

Important Location Requirement

Because this is a hybrid position requiring regular in-office coverage, candidates should live within a reasonable commuting distance of our Fort Lauderdale office.

Candidates located in Broward County, Palm Beach County, or Miami-Dade County are preferred.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
  • Diagnose and treat a broad range of psychiatric conditions.
  • Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Provide ongoing psychiatric medication management.
  • Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications in accordance with Florida law and clinical best practices.
  • Monitor treatment response, medication effectiveness, and potential adverse effects.
  • Adjust treatment plans based on clinical presentation and patient progress.
  • Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment options, and expected outcomes.
  • Provide supportive psychotherapy and/or brief therapeutic interventions as appropriate to training and scope of practice.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, PMHNPs, therapists, neuromodulation providers, and other members of the clinical team.
  • Coordinate care when patients require additional services or higher levels of treatment.
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and thorough documentation in the electronic health record.
  • Participate in clinical communication and case collaboration with the treatment team.
  • Follow all applicable federal and Florida regulations, HIPAA requirements, professional standards, and practice policies.
  • Maintain appropriate follow-up and continuity of care for an established patient panel.
  • Stay current with developments in psychiatric medications, evidence-based treatment approaches, and emerging mental health treatments.
