Requirements

  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow‑up visits
  • Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
  • Collaborate with facility staff and family members
  • Provide compassionate, trauma‑informed care
  • Document care in compliance with regulatory standards

Qualifications

  • Certified PMHNP
  • Active DEA
  • Active, unrestricted state license
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with geriatric or long‑term care populations preferred (not required)
  • Prior experience as a Psychiatric RN or Psychiatric NP in a nursing home or similar setting is a plus
