Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join a private behavioral medicine practice in Daphne, Alabama, or Navarre, Florida. Position Overview
The practice provides comprehensive behavioral health services with a strong emphasis on accurate diagnostics, individualized treatment planning, and patient-centered care. The clinical team also offers advanced therapies, including NeuroStar TMS Therapy, an FDA-cleared, non-drug treatment for depression delivered in-office without anesthesia or sedation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits.
- Diagnose and treat mental health conditions.
- Manage psychotropic medications and medication follow-up.
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to coordinate care.
- Educate patients on treatment plans and therapeutic options.
- Support a collaborative, efficient, and compassionate patient experience.
Qualifications
- Current NP license in good standing.
- PMHNP certification preferred.
- Strong skills in psychiatric assessment and medication management.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Outpatient behavioral health or psychiatry experience preferred.
