++Position Summary:++**

JCCA's Behavioral Health and Wellness division is seeking a dedicated and experienced Bilingual Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to join our Bronx Counseling Center (BCC) team on a part-time basis. The BCC provides high-quality mental health services to children and youth (ages 4-26) and their families. Our services include individual and family therapy, psychiatric evaluations, medication management, psychoeducation, and referrals to community providers. Care is delivered both in-person and via telehealth.

++Key Responsibilities:++

  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication assessments
  • Provide medication administration and monitoring
  • Coordinate care with external psychiatric and healthcare providers
  • Deliver psychoeducation to clients and families
  • Maintain consistent documentation and communication with the clinical team
  • Participate in team meetings and receive monthly supervision from a psychiatrist (minimum 4 hours/month)
  • Ensure compliance with OMH Part 599 regulations

++Qualifications:++

  • Current New York State license as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
  • 1-2 years of experience working with children and youth with emotional, behavioral, or psychiatric disorders
  • Familiarity with families with complex, multi-system needs and experience in crisis settings
  • Strong documentation and computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Knowledge of Medicaid, Managed Care Organizations, and federal healthcare guidelines
  • Background in Evidence-Based Practices and Models
  • Strong understanding of Social Determinants of Health, Race Equity, Social Justice, and Trauma-Informed Care
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and clinical skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) required
