Psych Nurse Practitioner – Inpatient Adult/Adolescent Unit – Manchester, CT

The large healthcare group is seeking an experienced Behavioral Health/Psychiatry APRN to join a multidisciplinary team of specialists for a full-time position in an acute care general hospital's inpatient behavioral health adult and adolescent unit.

The APRN may also conduct medical floor psychiatric consultations and emergency department crisis evaluations under the supervision of the attending physician.

The Inpatient PMHNP will participate in the treatment/coverage of ten patients daily within the inpatient unit.

Responsibilities

• Conduct admission histories and exams
• Perform daily rounding on service patients
• Provide consultation services to the emergency department and medical/surgical floors
