Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive health services to the Georgia Department of Corrections.We are currently seeking a part-time Psychiatrist to join our team at Johnson State Prison located in Wrightsville, Georgia.The Psychiatrist works within a multi-disciplinary team to provide behavioral health/psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients in a correctional setting.Qualifications• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required• Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry• Active and unrestricted medical license or the ability to obtain licensure• Must show/be able to obtain active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration• Ability to pass credentialing and background checkAvailable Shift:WeekdaysDay ShiftWe offer excellent compensation and benefits for our part-time team members, including:401(k) with company matchCompany paid malpractice insuranceCenturion Health contracts with state and local governments nationwide to provide comprehensive healthcare services to correctional facilities, state hospitals, and other community settings.
