Provider Services Specialist

To support large-scale healthcare organizations, the full-time remote Provider Services Specialist will manage enrollment tasks, follow up on credentialing-based holds and denials, and escalate issues related to payer, provider, or billing platforms. Key responsibilities Complete enrollment tasks and follow up on credentialing issues to ensure timely resolution Act as a liaison between practitioners, billing management, and insurance carriers while processing tasks from the Enrollment Worklist Report new and existing issues to upper administration and maintain Payer Enrollment groups and statuses as directed Required qualifications Athena experience required Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in a business/healthcare environment 3+ years of applicable experience in credentialing and enrollment, with multi-specialty experience being a plus Experience in a medical billing environment with strong compliance to HIPAA regulations Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced knowledge of credentialing databases or reporting systems
