Salesforce Database ManagerThis is a 6+ month contract position. Here are the details:Position: Salesforce Database ManagerLocation: Providence, RIDuration: 6+ monthsSummary:The Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH) has retained Knowledge Services to provide a Salesforce Database Manager to support the state’s emergency response and recovery activities.Incumbent must be able to provide support a minimum of 35 hours a week minimum, with ability to work off-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed to support response requirements. Length of contract dependent on resource needs and funding availability.Responsibilities:Ability to learn an application quickly and help maintain and create training literatureGather/create/capture requirements for additions or changes to the application that are prioritized with RIDOH leadershipSummarize the needed changes by creating “user stories” or describing the needs of the team in a standardized format.Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) for each new release of the applicationEducate and train peers and establish a support network of super users to educate and train the RIDOH teamPerform other duties as assigned by supervisorMinimum Qualifications:Due to the nature of this work, the selected candidate must have sufficient education, training, and experience to demonstrate the possession and direct application of the following knowledge and abilities:Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Use of JIRA for project managementAbility to create and execute a regression testing suiteAbility to lead under pressure in a calm and thoughtful mannerMust possess high level of emotional intelligence (EQ)Must be highly competent individual who can think both strategically and tactically in numerous situations and is capable of toggling between the two seamlesslyMust have exceptional communication skills (e.g., verbal, written, presentation) and time management skills (e.g., ability to multi-task while meeting deadlines)Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field.Must have experience testing applicationsMust have experience with Service Clouds, Partner, and Customer CommunitiesMust have experience with Salesforce Health Cloud ApplicationChange Management experience with a SaaS application using agile approachSoftware development lifecycle experience (agile preferred)
