Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Prototype Test Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building, serializing, and testing prototypes of future products. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with various engineering teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in prototype assembly and testing.
• Proficiency in using Excel for data recording and analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Familiarity with mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
• Experience with quality assurance processes and protocols.

Day To Day:

• Assemble and serialize prototypes and small fixtures.
• Perform various tests on prototypes, recording results accurately.
• Partner with engineering and QA teams to define and conduct additional tests.
• Maintain organized records of all test results and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and serialize prototypes and small fixtures.

Conduct tests on prototypes to ensure functionality and performance.

Record test results into a database (likely Excel)

Measure press fits

Measure critical dimensions

Collaborate with mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and QA teams to conduct additional tests as defined.
