Prototype Assembler Level 3Our client, a Manufacturing Conglomerate company, is looking for a Prototype Assembler Level 3 for their Twinsburg, OH location.Responsibilities:The Prototype Assembler is responsible for performing electrical and mechanical assembly of RA Engineered-To-Order (ETO) cabinet systems.This role requires interpreting electrical schematics, drawings, and specifications (both RA and customer-provided) and translating them into finished physical products.Core responsibilities include wiring, wire preparation, component installation, labeling, and cabinet modification.Interpret drawings, schematics, work orders, and specifications (RA and customer)Perform mechanical assembly of components including mechanical cutouts on panels and cabinetsAbility to work with no supervision or assistance to complete moderately difficult projectsExecute low-voltage, power, and signal wiring tasksSelect appropriate wiring, components, and securing methodsStrip, crimp, terminate, and secure wiringApply wire, component, and cabinet labelingMaintain consistency and quality across multiple builds while mentoring team membersPerform basic functions in SharePoint (MIR/OCN Correspondence, MTS).Ability to lead projects and communicate with Tech Leads on project progress and needsParticipate in team meetings, positive, professional approach to work, willingness to help, and work or train in other areas.Requirements:Minimum 4 years of electrical panel assembly experienceAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics/blueprintsExperience with electrical cabinet assemblyProficient with tools (drills, crimpers, torque wrenches, tape measures, etc.)Ability to visualize and build from technical documentationCapable of selecting components, determining placement, and executing assemblyStrong attention to detail, organization, and basic math skillsGood dexterity and hand-eye coordinationExperience in ETO manufacturing5+ years in a manufacturing environmentHigh school diploma required; associate degree preferredDemonstrates ownership and accountability for assigned buildsCollaborates effectively with upstream/downstream teamsEngages in problem-solving and continuous improvement effortsIndependently executes tasks while maintaining team coordinationFocused on delivering projects on time, defect-free, and cost-efficientlySafety: Personal and team safety contributionQuality: Accuracy and workmanship of completed buildsDelivery: Ability to meet project timelinesCost: Efficient use of time and materialsWhy Should You Apply?Health BenefitsReferral ProgramExcellent growth and advancement opportunities
