Proprietary Structural Design EngineerThe Boeing Company, specifically Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS), is hiring Associate, Experienced, and Senior Structural Design Engineers for advanced aircraft development programs located in Berkeley, MO.BDS proprietary programs develop complex, highly integrated, advanced systems, enabling future growth for Boeing and our Department of Defense (DoD) Customers. If you thrive in a fast-paced culture, eagerly take action, set high standards for yourself, passionately honor commitments, strive to be the best and deliver results to achieve the unthinkable- this role is for you!Position Responsibilities:Develop, integrate and document structural and interior payload system requirements to establish the system designDevelop, maintain and modify structural and interior payload system and component designs, using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools and/or other design methods, to provide product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers and external customers throughout the product lifecyclePerform tests to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specificationsManage supplier development, test and production activities and coordinates with the supplier to optimize the design and achieve program goalsSupport investigation of emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirementsThis position is expected to be 100% onsite.

The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security/SCI Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).

(A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active) Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearanceBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science2+ years of work related engineering experience with a Bachelor’s or work related engineering experience with a Master’s5+ years of work related engineering experience with a Bachelor’s or 3+ years of work related engineering experience with a Master’s or work related engineering experience with a PhD9+ years of working experience with a Bachelor’s OR 7+ years with a Masters OR 4+ years with a PhDExperience with 3D solid modeling software UnigraphicsRelocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
