Proposal Manager/Writer IIThe Proposal Manager/Writer II is responsible for developing and submitting high-quality responses that propose Geographic Solutions' workforce and unemployment software systems to local, regional, and state government agencies. This role coordinates input from cross-functional teams and drafts compelling proposals by blending newly written content with boilerplate and past proposals to ensure full compliance with all requirements and evaluation criteria.THIS IS A HYBRID POSITION. CANDIDATE WILL HAVE TO COME TO WORK AT CORPORATE OFFICE IN PALM HARBOR, FL.

A MINIMUM OF 2 DAYS A WEEK.Key Responsibilities:Review RFPs, RFIs, and other opportunities to support research, analysis, and response planningCreate outlines and shell documents for proposal responsesFacilitate and lead proposal kick-off meetings, strategy meetings, and proposal review sessionsCollect and coordinate input from cross-functional teams and subject matter expertsArticulate win themes, technical solutions, discriminators, and key requirements clearly and consistently throughout proposal documentsApply formatting, writing, editing, and proofreading skills to develop organized proposal draftsLead Color Team reviews and manage follow-up revisionsEnsure overall proposal quality, consistency, and compliance with solicitation requirementsPrepare final master files in Word and PDF formats for submissionOrganize and maintain proposal files and folders within SharePointManage multiple proposals and projects simultaneously under tight deadlinesParticipate in all proposal debriefs and lessons-learned sessionsMaintain and update proposal boilerplate content following each submissionStay current on product offerings to ensure boilerplate content reflects the latest features and capabilitiesThis role may require occasional night or weekend work to meet critical submission deadlinesRequirements:Work Experience and Knowledge:Experience working for a software development/information technology organization desiredExperience with state and local government proposals preferredEffectively collaborate with others to establish good working relationships within the teamExcellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize projects and tasks in a fast-paced environmentStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work both within a team and independentlyManages time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficientlyMeets demanding deadlines in a timely mannerMaintains stable performance under pressure or opposition, such as time pressure or unexpected challengesDemonstrate a strong work ethic through consistent attendance, punctuality, professionalism, and commitmentCredentials and Experience:Bachelor's degree in English, Business Administration, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related fieldMinimum 3 years of successful proposal experience, preferably in government or the software/technology sector.An equivalent combination of education and experience may be consideredProficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint)Understanding of proposal techniques (i.e. layout, graphics, strategy-to-win)
