Senior Proposal ManagerCA&M, Inc. is accepting resumes for Senior Proposal Managers to work with our growing customer base.Responsibilities:As the Senior Proposal Manager, you will work directly with external customers to generate creative, high-quality proposals for existing and new clients. Drawing on your knowledge of industry best practices and strong leadership and collaboration skills, you engage on multiple proposals in various stages simultaneously while ensuring adherence to solicitation requirements.
This is a high-visibility position with the opportunity to collaborate extensively with senior management of our customers.Leads proposal development process for single award, IDIQ, and task order proposalsManages all aspects of proposal development, including: pre-proposal planning activities, solution and strength development, kickoff meeting, schedule, action/issue tracking, proposal structure, compliance oversight, writing instructions and team guidance, color team coordination and facilitation, and production oversightDevelops and maintains the following proposal documents: kickoff materials, master outline and compliance matrix, schedule, storyboards and annotated outlines, writing instructions and templates, proposal team contact lists, and color team review briefingsCollaborates with leadership to obtain resources for timely, high-quality proposal submissionsEstablishes and enforces proposal schedulesFacilitates color team review and leads color review recovery by providing guidance on content changes and revisions and driving the proposal team to strategic decisionsDevelops and maintains the proposal archive and harvests final proposals for reusable contentBuilds strong relationships across the company and fosters collaborative proposal team cultureRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degreeExperience preparing and managing proposalsMinimum of 7 years of Federal proposal management experience in a growth-focused environmentDemonstrated experience with large, prime, single-award proposals ($100M+ total contract value) and small business set asides, GSA and GWAC contracts vehicles.Expert knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, desktop publishing skills and the ability to conceptualize graphicsProfessional proposal training (e.g., Shipley course completion)Excellent written and oral communication skillsProactive, process-oriented individual with strong attention to detailExperience effectively managing multiple simultaneous projectsComfortable working with and briefing senior managementFlexible, results-driven individual who consistently meets tight deadlines and is able to respond to changing prioritiesBackground in federal and civilian agency proposal managementAble to work flexible schedules, including long hours and weekendsDesired Qualifications:Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) Foundation-level certificationDeep familiarity with SharePoint, Virtual Proposal Center, and other industry proposal management software tools
